Support Services 1st Choice are looking for support staff to provide care to service users in their own homes across various locations in the Scottish Borders.

As a member of our team, you will access to a large database of online training courses to enhance and develop your goals. You will also receive face to face training with our dedicated team of trainers.
Job description
As part of our team your main duties will include:
Delivering high standards of care to service users in their own home.
Meeting the care needs of service users in a personal centered approach.
Working with health and social care standards in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Providing a full range of support from personal care to administration of medication.
Ensuring the protection, wellbeing, and safety of services users
Effective communication written and oral.

Work Patterns:
Paid per block of support.
Support ranges from 7am to 10pm.
Essential Criteria:
Reliable, Trustworthy, and dedicated
To work as part of a team and independently
Access to a Smartphone
Eligible to work in the UK.
Flexible to work in multiples environments and locations.
Must be flexible and willing to work at short notice.
Good communication skills.
Desirable
Candidates with a full driving license and access to a vehicle preferred but not essential
Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG scheme.

Salary: £12.00 per hour rising to £12.50 per hour after 6 months depending on review of work ethics the list is not exhaustive; we aim to work with the best for a better Scottish Borders
