🌿 Building Brighter Futures – Giving Back to Our Community

Anned Group Celebrates Five Years of Supporting Local Children with a £26,000 Nursery Transformation!

We're incredibly proud to announce the completion of a very special community project at Foundry Under Fives Pre-School in Hayle, a local registered children's charity.

Through Anned Developments Ltd, we've undertaken and subsidised a major improvement project with an estimated commercial value of £26,000, transforming the nursery's facilities for the benefit of local children.

🌱 A brand-new outdoor nature garden – designed and constructed to encourage children to explore the natural world, learn through play, develop their confidence and enjoy being outdoors.

🏡 A new kitchen – installed by our team, with the kitchen itself generously donated by Howdens, whose support helped make these improvements possible.

We're extremely grateful to Howdens for their generosity and for joining us in supporting such a worthwhile local cause.

🎀 Official Opening – Friday 23 October 2026
We're delighted that the Mayor of Hayle, Councillor Jeremy Martin, will officially open the new nature garden at 2pm on Friday 23 October.

This project is particularly meaningful to us as Anned Group marks five years of supporting children's organisations and community initiatives across Cornwall.

From sponsoring grassroots children's rugby clubs to creating outdoor learning environments, we've always believed in supporting opportunities that encourage children to get outside, stay active, explore nature and enjoy sport.

This is now our second outdoor educational project, and we're proud to be creating spaces that will benefit children for years to come.

As a Cornwall-based business, we believe that being part of a community means more than simply working in it. It means giving something meaningful back.

A huge thank you to everyone at Foundry Under Fives Pre-School, to Howdens for their generous contribution, and to our team for the hard work and dedication that brought this project together.

We don't just build properties. We believe in building stronger communities and brighter futures. 💚

Every year Anned Developments Ltd likes to give back to our local community. We always look for something that benefits having kids being outdoors or involved in sports, a few years ago we did a sensory garden for a local school, so this year the Director Tim Carey offered to help Foundry Under Fives Pre-School by building a new nature garden for all the little ones to learn about the different birds and plants. Andy and his team have almost completed their works. Another few days and all we will then need is some rain 😀😀

The Armed Forces community possesses a wealth of skills, experience, leadership and dedication that translates exceptionally well into the construction, property and facilities management sectors. We are so proud to already have veteran representation within our management team and recognise the significant value that former service personnel bring to our business.

As part of our commitment, we will continue to promote opportunities for veterans, support reservists and champion the principles of fair treatment and respect for all members of the Armed Forces community.
