At Carlin Security Services LTD, your safety is our priority. We proudly support the “Ask for Angela” safety initiative across bars, pubs and venues.

If at any point you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or scared, you can discreetly approach a member of staff and “Ask for Angela.” This is a code phrase that lets us know you need help without drawing attention.

All our staff are fully trained on what to do and how to respond professionally and discreetly.

Depending on the situation, we can:

• Arrange safe transport or a taxi
• Es**rt you out of the situation safely
• Offer a safe space within the venue
• Contact the police if necessary

Our team are experienced, professional, and committed to ensuring everyone feels safe while enjoying their night out.

Last sunday our team and company director Bradley Carlin had the pleasure of providing security for the Langley Mill Cromford Road Christmas Market once again. We’ve done this event multiple times now, and every year it only gets better the more we take part.

A huge thank you to Vicky Stevenson and Joanne Gent for choosing Carlin Security Services Ltd to support this wonderful community event. Your trust in our team means everything.

Our staff absolutely loved meeting Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Santa, and his elf throughout the evening! Moments like these remind us why we enjoy taking part in community events so much — ensuring everyone has a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience is what we do best.

Due to the ongoing incidents of violence in and around Ilkeston Market Place, Carlin Security Services Ltd will be implementing enhanced security measures across all of our Ilkeston venues effective immediately, whenever staff are on duty.

These measures include:

🔹 Body-worn cameras – Always activated when our team is on-site
🔹 Metal detection wands – For quick, non-intrusive screening
🔹 Tighter ID checks – Especially at entry points
🔹 Bag checks – Where necessary, to ensure everyone’s safety

We understand this may seem like a big change, but for the vast majority of our customers and clients, this will have little to no impact on your experience.

These steps are being taken with one goal in mind:
