A customer contacted us looking for a solution to open their estate’s sliding gate from a unit approximately 400 metres away.

Using Ajax equipment and wireless communication links, we installed a system that allows a simple push button to trigger a relay and open the gate remotely. As an added benefit, the Ajax system also enables the customer to open the gate directly from their smartphone app, wherever they are.

The customer was delighted with the result and has already invited us back to discuss automation solutions for future gates on the estate.

We recently completed a CCTV upgrade at a domestic property 🏠📸

As well as installing higher-spec cameras, we took the time to properly conceal all cabling, improving both the performance and overall finish (a big step up from the previous install).

All cameras were configured with motion-activated LED lighting, providing full-colour images when needed—without having lights on constantly, just as the customer preferred.

Great to see another happy customer too—we’ve already been asked back to service their existing Texecom alarm system 👍

Bank Holiday weekends can leave sites vulnerable and this weekend proved why security monitoring is essential. Following an intrusion at one of our sites, alarms were responded to immediately and police were notified within minutes thanks to our monitoring team’s rapid action 👍

Another recent project completed on a construction site in Sheffield 👷‍♂️

We installed an 11-camera monitored CCTV system using high-spec equipment to ensure accurate and reliable alarm detection across the site.

To improve visibility for the team, we also set up wireless links to stream a live feed to the site office across the road, displayed on a 43” monitor.

With no ducting in place, we installed heavy-duty cable ramps across access points, securely bolted down to keep everything protected and safe.

A great example of adapting to site conditions while delivering a robust, high-performance security solution.

A slightly different job from our usual work recently 👀

We attended a site with an existing video encoder system (installed by a previous provider) that distributes content across 30 displays throughout the office. One of the cards had failed, so we stepped in to replace it and get everything back up and running smoothly.

And yes… we can’t ignore the cabling situation in the photo 😅 definitely not our handiwork!

CCTV install at a The Café Bar located in Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge.

All works were completed out of hours to keep disruption to a minimum. Surface conduit was used for rear areas, while all customer-facing spaces were kept clean with hidden cabling above ceilings.

The system was also set up with smart alerts to notify the client of any out-of-hours movement 🔐

A recent project at MoorSpace Storage Co 📸

We installed a 26-camera CCTV system, Ajax alarm & doorbell, and office access control, all connected to DSOC for 24/7 monitoring with mobile access.

The network was set up using DrayTek, Omada, and Starlink, with secure VLANs separating security, staff, and guest WiFi 🔐

This was a brilliant project to be part of. Everything was carefully planned from the start, and the Moorspace team were clear, organised, and great to work with throughout.

Even better, the client is thrilled with the results and left us a fantastic review 🙌

Projects like this are exactly why we love what we do.
