A Final Update on Gary ❤️

It is with the heaviest of hearts and the deepest sadness that we share the news that Gary passed away on the10th October 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Gary fought so incredibly hard throughout this whole ordeal. His strength and determination, even when things became so difficult, were truly remarkable. Everything happened so suddenly, and it is hard to comprehend how quickly life changed from working together and living normally to facing the unimaginable just days later.

Despite how poorly he became, Gary continued to show just how strong he was. We fought with everything we had to get him to Castle Hill, where his wonderful oncologist could take over his care and do everything possible to give him more time. Although, sadly, his body had been through too much, we will always be grateful that we did everything we could to give him that chance.
Gary was not alone. His 4 children, his 2 brothers, 1 sister, and his mum and dad were all there beside him to hold him, love him and see him on his way. Surrounded by the people who meant so much to him, he was wrapped in love until the very end. There is some comfort in knowing that his family were all there with him during his final moments, although no words can ever truly describe the pain of saying goodbye.

Gary's strength throughout this fight will never be forgotten. He was loved beyond words, and the loss he leaves behind is immeasurable. Our family now face the heartbreaking task of learning to live without someone who meant so much to so many.

Thank you to everyone who has sent messages, offered support and kept Gary and our family in their thoughts. Your kindness has meant more than you will ever know during these devastating days.

Due to this immense loss, Green Print services are temporarily suspended. We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this incredibly difficult time for Gary's family and our team.

We are actively working to resume services as soon as possible, and all updates regarding our operational status will be promptly shared on the Green Print page.

Fly high, Gary. You fought so hard, and we are so proud of you. You will never be forgotten, and you will forever remain in our hearts. Until we meet again my one true love. ❤️🕊️

Our Gary is at the moment very poorly in hospital.
We are so sorry but the shop will be closed in our new premises until further notice.

We are extremely sorry but due to technical issues we are unable to reopen today in our new premises.
Opening day has now been moved to Monday 5th October.
We are still available online via email should you wish to send work ready for collection on Monday.
Our phone number is up and running should you wish to discuss anything.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

📣 WE ARE MOVING! 📣

After many happy years serving our wonderful customers from Hedon Market Place, we’re excited to announce that Hedon Green Print is moving to new premises! 💚

Our last working day at the Market Place shop will be Thursday 17th September.

We’ll then be busy moving everything over to our new premises on Friday 18th September, before reopening our doors on:

But don’t worry — it’s same owners, same service and same quality! 💚

🖨️ What happens to your work while we move?

If you have an outstanding job currently waiting for collection, please don’t worry — it will be quite safe with us! 😊

All outstanding jobs will be coming with us to our new premises, so you can collect them from Sergeants Close once we reopen. There’s no need to panic or make a special trip to the Market Place before we close — we’ve got everything safely covered! 💚

We have not closed the shop.
Due to illness our opening hours have changed slightly (as below) and occasionally we may be closed at short notice but we are still open and still printing 😁😁.
