No one throws a bigger tantrum than a narcissist being shown facts and evidence of something they definitely did do.**
Nothing enrages a narcissist more than proof — undeniable, clear, irrefutable proof. Logic and truth corner them, and since accountability feels like humiliation, they explode. They’ll deny, deflect, insult, and twist the story until you’re the one apologizing for bringing it up. To them, facts aren’t reality — they’re threats to their carefully crafted image.
They’ll attack your tone, question your sanity, and accuse you of overreacting — anything to avoid admitting guilt. Their rage isn’t about what you’ve shown them; it’s about the mirror you’re holding up. Because behind their arrogance lies deep shame, and the truth exposes what they’ve spent a lifetime hiding.
So they throw a tantrum loud enough to drown out the evidence — hoping if they shout long enough, you’ll stop standing your ground. But don’t. Their fury only proves how powerful the truth really is.
