Bursary applications close on 16 March!

Bursaries help more fundraisers access Fundraising Convention 2026, opening the door to valuable learning, inspiration, and professional growth.

These opportunities are offered through our volunteer‑led groups, supporting fundraisers who may otherwise be unable to attend.

We’re also proud to offer the Mandi Hine Bursary, created in remembrance of Convention Board member Mandi Hine. This provides two one-day tickets to in-person tickets with the aim of widening access to learning within the fundraising community.

We are so pleased to have secured more funding for The Acorn. A wonderful charity supporting their wonderful community of Penzance.

You may notice some changes going on at The Acorn…

☀️There will be scaffolding going up whilst we install solar panels to the roof of The Acorn.

🍃This is a huge and exciting opportunity for The Acorn to become a greener venue. We are delighted to have received Cornwall Council’s TRIP Funding (Town Regeneration and Investment Programme). We are committed to being the best arts venue we can for the people of Penzance. This grant will help us do just that.

🎫The Acorn is open as usual, so if you’ve got something booked, we’ll see you then!
This is just the first part of what we have planned for this funding. Watch this space for more updates…

This project is [funded/part-funded] by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
