Are you IN love or OUTTA love with your business? ๐ค
What were the reasons you set up your business in the first place?
Mine were because I'd hit a plateau in my employed role and things were changing in the organisation structure; my beloved boss was retiring and after 10 years I felt that I needed a fresh start, some new challenges (boy, if only I'd known ...!)
I loved all things admin and had always been (and still am obvs!) a great organiser, hence I set up my virtual assistant business to fit around my, at that time, young family. It's not all been a bed of roses (hmm ... how would that work anyway?), in fact it's been very much a ๐ข roller coaster of a ride, so I have to remind myself now and then what I LOVE about running my own small business.
For me, it's the flexibility and freedom it gives me as well as the opportunity to learn new tools to help me organise and support my clients in the best way I can. I'm a details person and love getting into the nitty-gritty intricacies of a project or task and joining all the dots and crossing all the t's!
When networking, I love learning about other small businesses and am always amazed at the variety of innovative and unique businesses out there, in all sorts of industries. Small businesses really are such vital contributors to our economy ๐ท
