❄️ Keep Your Cobra battery healthy this winter! ❄️

If your cordless kit is heading into hibernation, now’s the perfect time to give your battery a little TLC. Proper winter care doesn’t just protect performance — it extends battery life, too. Here’s what to do:

🔋 1. Charge before storing
Lithium-ion batteries should never be stored empty. Aim for around 40–60% charge before putting them away. This keeps the cells stable during long periods of rest.

🏡 2. Store somewhere warm and dry
Cold temperatures can permanently reduce lithium-ion battery capacity. Keep your Cobra battery in a cool, dry place between 5–20°C — never in an unheated shed, garage, or outdoors.

📦 3. Remove the battery from your machine
Always take your battery out of the mower, trimmer or blower before winter storage. This prevents accidental activation and protects the contacts.

🔌 4. Avoid leaving it on the charger
Once charged, unplug the battery. Lithium-ion models don’t need ‘trickle charging’ and storing them on a charger can cause unnecessary wear.

🧼 5. Keep contacts clean
A gentle wipe with a dry cloth is enough. Make sure terminals are free from moisture and debris before you put it away.

💡 6. Check it again mid-winter
If you’re storing it for several months, give it a quick top-up if the charge drops — this helps maintain long-term health.

WINTER STORAGE TIPS FOR YOUR GARDEN MACHINERY ❄️🛠️

As the mowing season slows down, now’s the perfect time to give your Cobra machinery a little winter TLC. Whether you use petrol tools or battery-powered kit, a few quick steps now will help everything start smoothly in spring.

PETROL MACHINES (mowers, scarifiers, tillers):
• Empty the fuel – old petrol can cause problems when you next start up.
• Check or change the oil – clean oil protects the engine over winter.
• Clean the machine – remove grass, dirt and debris to prevent rust.
• Store in a dry shed or garage – cover it if possible to keep moisture away.

BATTERY MACHINES (cordless mowers, trimmers, blowers):
• Charge batteries to around 50% before storing.
• Bring batteries indoors – keep them somewhere warm and dry, not in a cold shed.
• Clean the battery and contacts.
• Store the battery separately from the tool.
• Give it a small top-up charge once mid-winter.

These simple steps help keep your Cobra machines in great condition and ready to go the moment spring arrives 🌱💪

💬 Real reviews. Real results. From real gardeners.

We love hearing how much our customers are enjoying their Cobra cordless lawnmowers - like these two glowing reviews straight from Trustpilot:

🌿 “One of the best lawnmowers we’ve had — and it’s cordless! Usually takes us 30–40 mins with a cabled mower, but this one gets the job done in 20–25. Well packaged, great courier, and plenty of tracking info. I’d happily recommend Cobra to a friend.”

🌱 “This is the best lawn mower I’ve ever had (and I’m 71!) — solid build, no flimsy plastic, and it performs brilliantly in all conditions. The stripes are sharp thanks to the weight and rear roller, and it handles both short and long grass with ease. The battery lasts well and charges quickly — never feels underpowered.”

If you’re looking to ditch the cord, cut your mowing time, and get those perfect lawn stripes — now’s the time to go Cobra. ⚡💚
