Supporting Herefordshire Mind

Today, Lisa—one of Herefordshire Mind’s proud ambassadors—has been out and about in Hereford, helping to support their important su***de prevention resources around Hereford today.

These resources will form part of a new initiative launching on World Su***de Prevention Day on the 10th of September.

Sometimes simply knowing where to turn and who to talk to can make all the difference.

❤️ What a morning we’ve had! ❤️

Today, Tracey, Alexis and Jess headed off to Oakerwood Leisure with our friends at Herefordshire Means Business to celebrate their 10th birthday! 🎉🥳

And what a way to celebrate 10 years! We enjoyed laser clay shooting, tree climbing and a zip wire — 🙈 Jess you really are our star shooter.

There were lots of laughs, a few nervous moments 😬 and plenty of encouragement for each other. We honestly loved every minute of it! 🥰

Thank you for such a brilliant morning and for bringing local businesses together over the last 10 years. We’re so proud to be part of the HMBIZ community and can’t wait to see what the next 10 years brings! 🥰

Now for the important question… who actually enjoyed the 50ft tree climb and who was secretly terrified?! 😂🤣Well done Alexis and Jess for reaching the top, Tracey managed about half way.

Our wonderful Sophie made this incredible cake for us in the office, and we honestly couldn't love it more! 🥹❤️

She has gone the extra mile and put the Elgar Care office team on the cake, along with our logo. It really is so personal and such a thoughtful thing to do. 🥰

It really is the thought and effort that goes into things like this that makes our Elgar Care family so special. Sophie, we honestly don't know how you find the time, but we're very glad you do! 😂🍰❤️

We are so lucky to have you! Thank you for putting so much thought, time and love into making something so special for us all.

And yes… after staring at ourselves on a cake for long enough, we eventually decided we should probably eat it! 😂🎂

We are absolutely thrilled to share some very exciting news…

Elgar Care has been shortlisted for the Hereford Times Community Awards – Business of the Year!

This one really does mean so much to us.

As a proud Hereford business, being recognised within our own community is incredibly special. Elgar Care has grown here, our team live and work here, and most importantly, we care for people in the local community we are so proud to call home.

We couldn’t have done it without our amazing team, our wonderful clients, their families and the incredible support of the Herefordshire community.

To be shortlisted alongside other fantastic local businesses is an honour in itself.

Now we have our fingers firmly crossed for Wednesday 7th October at Hereford Cathedral! 🤞🏆

Whatever happens on the night, we are already incredibly proud.

Sophie celebrated her birthday last week, but she’s been off enjoying some well-deserved time off, so we’re only getting to celebrate with her now!

They went down an absolute treat with the team – there may not be many left.
