3 years alcohol free today. I’m abroad, celebrating with (AF) b**r. It’s a dead nice one actually, I don’t usually buy into the substitute thing.

Stopping consuming this thing which I spent far too much time, effort and money on, three years ago has changed my life for the better. It was not the easiest transition to make but some of us can take or leave it and for some of us it’s not that straightforward.

So today I celebrate. Whilst also not being overly bothered because it’s not really something I think much about any more.

Between the dozen of us there isn’t much in the admin/business support world we can’t turn our hand to.

I had half a day off so pupkin and I went for a 10+ mile hike. HiiKER: The Hiking Maps App has opened my world - I’m not exaggerating - as I have the natural sense of direction of a drawing pin.

Thank you David Holbrook Photography for the tip. After a couple of hours’ kip the dog was ready to go again. His Mother was not.
