Top 10 processing activities that require a DPIA:

If your organisation is processing personal data in one or more of these scenarios, you should consider completing a DPIA:
1. Processing data on a large scale
2. Processing the data of vulnerable people
3. When you are performing evaluation and/or scoring on the data
4. Processing the data of children for marketing and/or profiling purposes
5. Using the data to make wholly automated decisions that may have a legal or similarly significant impact on individuals
6. Using the data to help carry out systematic monitoring of individuals
7. Processing sensitive data or data of a highly personal nature
8. When you are matching or combining multiple data sets
9. When you are using innovative or new technology and/or organisational solutions to process the data
10. When your processing prevents individuals from exercising one of their rights or from using a service
