Since Jan our fuel price has gone up 65p per litre, after some calculations, as of today that means that just the increase in fuel alone means that £22-23 per skip now comes out of our pockets, very worrying times for our industry and many others that rely on fuel.... We increased our prices last week after planned increases because of landfill tax, national insurance and wage increases, and also because of the wood recycling industry struggling our wood costs 100% more to dispose of now since January this year, i regret to announce that we will have to put an additional surcharge on for all our skip hire, i will keep this as low as possible and i need to work this out the right and fairest way as i rely on all our customers and i need to keep everyone happy but i just cant afford to swallow these costs. Proud to be on the shirts of Braintree Rugby Club again this year. Close to my heart, was in the 1st team for well over a decade, and now 2 out of 3 of my boys are playing for them (soon to be all 3 😉). Good luck to the teams and im looking forward to cheering you on this season, some tough games ahead and i know they will do what needs to be done 💪

You may have already seen our new kits in action over the weekend but we thought they deserved their own post along with highlighting our kit sponsors for the season!

Back on our shirts we have PG Bones Ltd taking centre stage along with new sponsor, Ernest DOE.
The front right breast is taken up by another new sponsor, ‘The Morton Family’ whilst the back sees the names C Humphreys & Sons along with Swift Brickwork Contractors; both of which are long standing supporters of the club along with Paul Shadbolt and Prince recycling ltd - SKIPS who make up our sleeves!

When our players are in action you may also see other names on the left sleeves of individuals who have sponsored the specific shirt and position!

From 1st August we are accepting outside waste into our fully licensed waste transfer site!!!!!

Car loads, van loads, tipper loads, grab hire loads, all accepted.... do you have a skip hire business? You can tip your skip waste here....

Mixed construction waste
£190 plus vat per tonne, minimum 500kg tip.

Wood (must be clean, no waste, and must come separately not to separate on our site.
£100 plus vat per tonne

How fair are our skip hire prices???

We stay very competitive, and always follow competition when we know prices have to go up.
We do not have hidden charges like others so actually our skips are the cheapest around.
We do no charge extra for doors on skips (all 6 and 8 yards have doors and most 4s) We do not charge for AM or PM deliveries (subject to availability of course) Only extra charge are matresses, we dont charge extra for anything and everything that you put in the skip. We are fair with out 2 week hire terms, need an extra day? Ok lets talk, need a few days because of an issue ok lets talk. Our drivers are the best around, if its got to go in an awkward place if it fits they will help, we wont leave the job with a wasted journey charge.

The good thing about hiring a skip from a small family business like ours is that we are fair, we are not here for a short time but a long time, we want you to come back and hire a skip from us year after year.

After 2.5 years we have now decided its time to stop grab hire, thank you to all our customers who supported us on grab hire, we appreciate you.

We are a skip hire company through and through, and i have decided to put all my efforts into the continuing growth of our skip hire business, we have an amazing track record for great customer service and very competitive pricing....

I have some very exciting ideas to take the business to the next stage with skip hire and i will share them all in good time on here.

We are looking for a new driver, good pay, long term work, weeks training with an experienced skip driver if no experience with skips, must of had hgv for 2 years.
