Adding your brand colours to the office is a good idea, but only if executed properly.
Brand colours should be used as an accent so they don’t overwhelm and overstimulate. The objective is to subtly reinforce a sense of ‘this is who we are’, with the colours used to foster a sense of belonging and connection with the team.
Done properly, the colours can also reinforce purpose and act as a switch, signifying to team members that it’s time to enter work mode.
But if your brand colours include fluorescent yellow and pink, then you don’t want to overdo it. Or staff might just feel like they’re stuck in an 80’s pop video, with the over stimulation impacting their ability to complete cognitive tasks.
If the above sounds complicated and you need help with an office redesign, we can make it simple and easy for you.
