Summer 2026 in context:
It has taken us 125,000 years to reach the level of heat energy we are now experiencing (not just from 1884 when official meteorological records began). At that time it was due to a shift in the Earth’s orbit, this time it’s the burning of fossil fuels. We are in big trouble!

During Wednesday’s solar eclipse, a number of Reform U.K. supporters & GBNews presenters are likely to be blinded because they refuse to believe in the settled science that the sun will burn their eyes out if they stare at it without appropriate protection.

Good Tuesday morning. 37-38 deg C in west Lincolnshire on Thursday… then universal RAIN from next Monday, IF what we are seeing on the latest charts comes to pass.

The biggest Super El Niño to-date, between 1876-78 killed an estimated 50 million people worldwide, mainly through famine & disease 💀.

The 2026-27 Super El Niño is already ramping & is projected to be the greatest of all time, massively exacerbated by ongoing climate change.

So, are we paying attention to what will unfold over the next 6 months or so, or should we just keep talking about the fortunes of Gianni Infantino? 🤔

The moment a football player in Thailand was struck by lightning .

Unfortunately he didn’t make it .

Safwan Awae , aged 23 , was playing for Yala FC in a regional competition when a monsoon thunderstorm came overhead .

The strike injured 12 people , but sadly Safwan didn’t survive the strike .

It is a grim reminder that football matches and other outdoor sports and pursuits should be stopped when theres a storm .
When thunder roars , get indoors .

Good Thurs morning. (but it an isn’t so great). UK Heatwave no. 5 (& elsewhere too) very much on track; fully kicking in by Sunday & lasting close to a week.

Can we make it plain, we are in big trouble. What is occurring worldwide is unprecedented, especially in the seas & oceans. You have been lied to by certain media channels, the fossil-fuel industry & right/far right media channels 🌍.
