Data Entry can be a time consuming task but is very often essential.

Let's Talk Services 📚

Copy typing is often requested when you (the Client) has a physical document but no electronic version. 📔 ➡️ ⌨ ➡️ 💾

Some examples of documents I can copy type are below, but in reality almost anything can be done and from any format (i.e. hard copy, PDF, photo etc.):

I've spent the past hour organising my wardrobe/bedroom and shortly I will start work where I get to organise a whole raft of things/ people. It's what I LOVE to do.

But right now I'm out enjoying a walk with these two which is such an important part of my day. I get some exercise, spend some time with the two animals that make me smile and just enjoy being for a bit. 😻 🐶 🌳

Look after yourself, even when you enjoy your job. Some time away from the laptop, delegation of something or a holiday can make the world of difference!

⭐ Outsourcing to a Virtual PA ⭐

So how do you decide what you can outsource? There are so many options it can feel overwhelming but I have put together a little guide to help.

☑ Write Everything Down ☑

Your journey begins with documenting how you spend your day. As soon as you open your computer, write down each task you do throughout the day. I know this may seem laborious but trust me it will help you in the long run free up so much of your time. Doing this you will be able to see what you spend the majority of your time working on. Do this every day for 1 week. Once you’ve documented your daily activities, it’s time to determine which tasks require your attention and which tasks you can outsource.

☑ Categorise ☑

Every task within your business will fall into 4 categories.

• Things I don’t know how to do
• Things I hate to do
• Things I don’t have time to do
• Things only I can do

Make sure you put all of the tasks you listed above into one of the four categories. Ask yourself questions like:

• Is this something I know how to do?
• Is this something I hate doing?
• Did I have time to do this?
• Can someone else do this?

Taking time to assess everything from “Do I hate doing this?” to “Can someone else do this?” will help you determine if a task truly needs your attention.

This exercise determines where you should focus your energy and where you can empower a Virtual PA to manage specific details of your business.

⭐ Zone of Genius ⭐

Start by outsourcing what you don’t know how to do, what you hate to do, and finally, what you don’t have time to do. As a result of outsourcing, you get to work in YOUR zone of genius, doing what you love, and generating income to grow your business.

⏰ Time Management ⏰

How do you manage your time? Do you find yourself wishing you had more hours in the day? 🕑 🕙 🕑 🤯

Unfortunately I can't promise to magically create 25 hours in a day or 8 days a week! 📆

BUT what I can promise is to FREE UP your time (and not by waving a magic🪄!) .

I take on the admin tasks, you know the ones that aren't a good use of your valuable time (and you probably don't enjoy!) so that you can focus on what you are good at ✅

What would you do with an extra 5 hours a week? Meet with new clients? Spend more time with your family? ⛳ ?!

Seriously, have a think. If there is something else you could or want to be doing, let me help make that happen.

They say things come in three's and those three set me up for an amazing weekend.

So even though this Monday morning is a bit grey and drizzly I'm excited for the week ahead.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

I always wanted to help people and so a nurse was on my list (but I'm a bit squeamish!) and a teacher was there too (but children aren't really my thing, give me a cat or dog any day!).

I do get to help people in my job though which is really great.

(and yes that is a photo of a 5 year old me, probably making a list about something!)

What Is a Virtual PA?
