Sometimes you just need a little nudge don’t you and has given us just that! Day 1 of their February challenge and time to introduce ourselves. We’re Nat & Lisa and this is us in 2019. This was our first job together. What a blast! Hard work and exhausting yes but an absolute pleasure to work on such a fabulous local event, bringing together so much local talent from musicians to local businesses. How much could we all do with a festival right now?!

We founded VERVE towards the end of last year combining our expertise in Digital Marketing, PR, Event Planning, Team Leadership and Office Management to support local businesses and individuals with things they don’t have the expertise or time to do.

2021 hasn’t quite shaped up how we had planned so far! Both with kids at home and home schooling we’re feeling the juggle. But it just highlights even more to us the importance of using your time wisely, organising yourself and ensuring you’re focusing on the tasks that yield the best results for you and not drowning in life or business admin! -

We’re feeling the love for Canva today - it’s such a useful tool for creative projects and has enabled us to help clients with so many varying projects from designing elements for newsletters and websites to creative for social posts and flyers. It can also be used for lots of lovely little personal projects too - party invitations, personalised birthday cards......the list is endless. What app on your phone do you find most useful?

Time management ⏰ ....never more important than right now, with everything that people are juggling and all those extra demands. Have you got any top tips for managing time more efficiently? ❓

Our top tip has to be to create lists 📝 and prioritise and set realistic goals 🥅 . Everything seems so much more complicated when it’s swimming round in your head. A list sorts that out and enables you to prioritise. Admittedly it doesn’t get things done but hopefully clears your mind so you can see more clearly what needs doing.

Top of that list today is to pour a big celebratory drink tonight for getting through week 3 of Lockdown 3.0! 🥂

This year has certainly been one for many people to reflect on the path they are on. Whether it’s health, work, hobbies....it’s been the perfect time to reassess and make changes. It’s also been the perfect time for us to launch VERVE. We’d been asking ourselves....where do we want to be? What do we want to be focusing on? How can we help others to do what they want to be doing?
Perhaps your business can’t afford the overheads of a permanent member of staff, perhaps you just want ad-hoc help that doesn’t warrant a full time member of staff....this years been tough and wouldn’t it be great to only pay for what you need when you need it.
Or perhaps your 2020 soul searching has meant that you want to get more organised at home, you could do with an extra pair of hands to do those jobs you don’t want to or don’t have time to do.

Back to normal by Easter.....🤞. Let’s hope!
So many special celebrations and events have been missed this year 😢. We’ve got everything crossed 2021 sees us return to ‘normal’.

VERVE absolutely loved working on last year and can’t wait to see events like this up and running again in our local community. The smaller events too - the birthday parties, the dinner parties..... if you’re planning a party or event in 2021 do get in touch. We’d love to help 🥰
