Today is a very positive day, the COVID-19 vaccine that I believe will be the best in terms of the balance of efficacy and safest has been approved for use in the UK. Well done to Sarah Gilbert and her team at the Jenner in Oxford for engineering this vaccine and to AstraZeneca for clinical development and soon the scale-up manufacturing.
