🚨8 zones working. We left with 21. 👀

A very interesting intruder alarm takeover recently completed for Afford Engineering.

When we arrived, the existing ADT Galaxy system only had 8 zones operating.

Once we opened the panel and started investigating, we found a very different story. Numerous cables and devices had effectively been left unused, with an existing expander not being utilised properly.

Rather than simply swapping the panel and walking away, we worked through the existing installation to see exactly what protection was available and what could be brought back into service.

🔴 Old ADT Galaxy equipment removed
🔴 Existing wiring and devices traced & tested
🔴 Previously unused protection brought back online
🔴 Existing expander correctly utilised
🔴 Additional expander installed
🔴 System increased from 8 working zones to 21
🔴 New RISCO intruder alarm installed
🔴 Fully programmed, tested & commissioned

That’s what an Arena Security takeover is about.

Another Ajax intruder alarm installation completed by the Arena Security team, this time at The Chocolatier. 🍫

We installed a new Ajax wireless intruder alarm system, giving the premises modern, reliable protection with full control and notifications straight from the Ajax app.

It’s always great working with local businesses — although this one definitely came with an added bonus... we even got to sample plenty of the chocolate treats while we were there! 😂🍫 Safe to say, there were no complaints from the engineers on this job!

🔐 Two Large Ajax Security Installs Completed

Arena Security has just completed two large installations using Ajax Systems, delivering powerful, smart protection for both properties.

Each house was equipped with:
📹 9 HD black CCTV cameras around the property
📹 1 dome camera covering the garages
📹 Ajax smart doorbell
📹 8-channel NVR for recording
🚨 Ajax Intruder Alarm System

Ajax is one of the most advanced wireless security systems available, offering instant alerts, encrypted communication, and full control through the Ajax mobile app.

Each property now includes:
• Multiple PIR motion sensors around the home
• Shock & contact sensors on doors and windows
• Multiple keypads on each floor for easy control
🖥 Network Infrastructure

We also installed a data cabinet with network switch and PDU, plus PoE switches in the downstairs comms room linking garage cabling and the Ajax Hub back to the main top-floor comms room.

💧 Next Phase
We’ll be returning in a few weeks to finish commissioning once the network connection is live and install Ajax leak detection devices, helping protect the property from water damage.
