You've probably heard me say this before, but...

I LOVE doing Wix Website Glow Ups.

They're probably my favourite thing to work on because they're soooo satisfying. The dopamine hit is real.

So many people DIY their website when they first start their business. Then a few years later, their business has evolved, grown and become something brilliant... but their website is still stuck in the past.

It no longer reflects who they are, what they do, or the quality of their work. And it's probably costing them enquiries too.

This glow up was for Marika. She has loads of personality, some fantastic photos, and a clear love of retro 70s design. During our call she showed me a jumper she loved and instantly I knew exactly where I wanted to take the design. I couldn't wait to dive in and start transforming the site.

And that's what I love most about glow ups. The impact I can make in just a few hours.

No starting from scratch. No huge project. Just taking what's already there and making it clearer, stronger and more reflective of the person behind the business.

My Website Glow Up packages start at £300, making them a great option if your website still works but no longer feels like your business.

PS. You might not need a new website. You might just need someone to get you and make your website as brilliant as your business.

Website glow up for Sarah Whitford Counselling 💻✨

Sarah had already built her own Wix website, but over time it had become quite text heavy and tricky to navigate. As a counsellor, that personal connection is such a huge part of helping people feel safe enough to reach out, so one of the biggest changes was making much better use of her images and bringing more of Sarah’s warmth and personality into the site.

A few of the changes we made:

• clearer user journeys so visitors can find the right information faster
• simplified messaging throughout the site
• less overwhelm and better structure
• clearer calls to action and enquiry points
• calmer, more professional design
• better use of imagery to build trust and connection
• improved mobile experience and readability
• a homepage that explains much more clearly who Sarah helps and how

Sometimes a business doesn’t need a whole new website. It just needs a bit of clarity, strategy and someone to help shape what’s already there into something stronger 💗

If your website no longer reflects the quality of your business, or you know it needs a fresh pair of eyes, send me a message. Website glow ups start from £300.

Zena’s Wix website glow up ✨

The foundations were already there, but we wanted the website to feel much more aligned with her personality, her approach and the people she supports.

So we reworked the structure, refined the messaging and elevated the overall look and feel to create something calmer, clearer and much more professional.

One thing I really loved about this project was making sure the website reflected Zena’s culturally integrated and neurodivergent affirming approach in a way that felt genuine, welcoming and human from the moment you land on the homepage.

Some of the improvements included:

• a much clearer homepage structure and user journey
• stronger messaging and clearer explanations of services
• better separation between counselling, supervision, events and therapist support
• more warmth and personality throughout the site
• improved hierarchy and readability
• calmer, more cohesive branding and colours
• stronger use of imagery to create connection and trust
• clearer calls to action throughout
• a more modern and professional overall feel
• rebuilt and refined in Wix so the site is still easy for Zena to manage and update herself

Sometimes a website doesn’t need rebuilding from scratch. Sometimes it just needs thoughtful changes that help it better reflect the business behind it ✨

If your Wix website feels a bit disconnected from who you are now or where your business is heading, that’s exactly the kind of thing I help with.

Camille had already built her own website in Wix when she came to me, but it didn’t quite reflect the quality of her work or her personality.

The foundations were there, but it needed a glow-up ✨

One thing I really pride myself on is being able to quickly understand people, their business and the feeling they want their brand to have.

So alongside restructuring the website, improving the layout and making her services and booking journey much clearer, I also created a new logo and visual identity for her business.

The aim was to make everything feel calmer, more polished and more aligned with the holistic experience she offers her clients.

Since then, I’ve also gone back to support Camille with SEO, plus matching printed materials including leaflets, gift cards and business cards so the branding feels consistent across every touchpoint.

Feedback like this honestly means the world 💛

These are all real things I've heard on discovery calls.

The interesting thing is that people rarely come to me saying they want a Wix website.

They usually come because they're frustrated with their current setup.

You also don't always need something so hard-coded and bespoke that nobody can confidently update it except the person who built it.ss.

Over the last 20 years, I've worked across all sorts of website platforms. These days, I've chosen to work exclusively in Wix because I believe small business owners should be able to update their own websites.

You shouldn't need to pay someone every time you want to change a price, add a service, launch an event or update some text.

You also don't always need something so hard coded and bespoke that nobody can confidently update it except the person who built it.

Most of the business owners I work with want a website that:
🌴 reflects where their business is now
🌴 is easy to keep up to date
🌴 does some heavy-lifting like taking bookings, payments and collecting leads
🌴 saves on admin and automates processes
🌴 gives them more control, not less

That's why I build in Wix.

Not because it's the only option.

Because for many small businesses, it's the most practical one.

A new website for Angel Pavilion ✨

When Myra came to me, Angel Pavilion already had a website, but the biggest issue was that she couldn’t easily update or manage it herself. Every small change meant relying on a developer, which made things slower, more restrictive and more expensive long term.

So the first step was moving the website over to Wix, giving Myra a platform she could properly manage herself without ongoing developer costs.

From there, we redesigned and expanded the site so it could do much more for the business and the community around it.

The new website gives Angel Pavilion space to share blogs, promote upcoming events, showcase practitioners and really reflect the role it plays as a community wellbeing space.

More than anything, this project was about giving the business more freedom and control. A website that can evolve alongside the direction Myra wants to take it, rather than holding it back.

And feedback like this honestly means so much:
“To say Julia waved a magic wand, transforming my vision into reality is an understatement.”
— Myra ✨

I’m really excited to see how both the space and the website continue to grow together 💛

Now as a small business owner, the scary stuff looks a little different 😅

It’s wearing all the hats, trying to market everywhere, figuring out SEO and GEO, wrestling with Canva, drowning in emails, not knowing what to focus on first, and somehow never having enough hours in the day.

Turns out monsters were easier 😅

This was such an interesting little experiment 😅

Sometimes you’re so close to your own business, you don’t always see the patterns in how you naturally think, speak and support people.

A really good reminder that your brand is often already there… in the conversations you have every day 💛

Launching a new skincare brand is a lot.

Natalie had already built her ecommerce website herself and had done a really good job with it. The foundations were there. But there were a few areas where she wanted some extra support to make sure the website was working as well as it could from a marketing and customer point of view.

So we worked together on the layout, structure, ecommerce journey, SEO and image selection to help the site feel clearer, more polished and easier for customers to shop from.

One of the things I loved most about this project was helping Natalie feel more confident managing the website herself going forward. A website should feel empowering, not intimidating.

Sometimes support doesn’t mean starting from scratch. Sometimes it’s about helping someone strengthen what they’ve already created.

“I’ve had such a great experience working with Julia. She helped design and put together my website, completely transforming the layout and advising me on what works best for an ecommerce site.

She also took the time to show me simple ways to update and amend it myself at home, which has been so helpful.

Julia has always been quick to answer any questions I’ve had, and nothing has ever been too much trouble.

I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for professional, friendly and knowledgeable support with their website and marketing.”

Lofty Heights already had two separate websites when they came to me. One in Wix and one in WordPress.

The business had grown and evolved over time, but the online presence no longer reflected everything they do clearly. Services were split across different websites, messaging felt disconnected, and it was becoming harder for people to understand the full impact of the organisation.

So we brought everything together into one new website in Wix.

A clearer, more modern online home that better reflects the incredible work they do supporting people through training, employment support and practical opportunities.

One of the biggest priorities for this project was clarity. Making it easier for funders, partners, learners and the wider community to quickly understand the organisation and navigate the site more easily.

We also made sure the team could manage the website internally going forward, without needing ongoing agency support for every little change.

And feedback like this means so much:

“Julia was a real help to Lofty Heights and has developed a website that serves both sides of our business and looks much more engaging to partners, customers and stakeholders. We'd highly recommend Little Marketing Help to anybody looking to improve their online presence.”
— Chris, CEO of Lofty Heights 💛
