Nick will be telling us "Why and how we must all get to grips with AI" and why we can't hide!! There will many useful tips from Nick's experience and from experts. 🤓

🎈 At Fabulous Networking we have ditched the traditional 60-second pitch and change the way we introduce ourselves each month. Last month we asked you to introduce your business in 15 words or less. Ok it’s an old photo but I like it and it has wine in my hand!!! 😉

What a week the last two days have been! It’s been head down work for sure and my head hurts!!! 🤦‍♀️

Trying to help IT support fix a remote printer issue for a client this morning didn’t work (they’re thinking about what to do), watching another clients IT support take over my computers to change my email address for their accounts dept, and lastly a truly head banging working out payroll journals for a client which were a mess!! I don’t like journals so I’m happy that I’ve got it to balance eventually!! 🎉💪💥

Now pass the wine please! 🥂

It’s not all about bank recs and VAT returns you know? 👊

Had a call this afternoon with a client and a funding company that we have partnered with to try and consolidate the loans they have and therefore reduce their charges and interest. 💥

Feeling hopeful that we can sort this out 💪👊💥

🙈 Did you know that it's all changing in the Self-Assessment Tax return world? 🤔

‼️ Have you heard of Making Tax Digital? 👀

💥 If you are a sole trader or Landlord with an income of more than £50,000 per year (or combined income) this WILL affect you from April THIS year! 😱 Your first quarterly return is due by 7th AUGUST! 😳

🤔 If your income is over £30,000 it will be from April 2027. ✅

🤔 And £20,000 from April 2028. ✅

😉 HMRC have sent out letters to those affected from April 2026 so you should have signed up by now. Latest stats from HMRC say that 9000 sign-ups are needed by 7th August! 😱

👉 NOW is the time to learn more about it and get prepared. Using software will be the easiest way to do your quarterly submissions. 😊

Christine has 30 years experience as a therapist/healer and never ceases to learn new skills.

Her talk is all about what happens when you encounter an event or circumstance in your life that 'floors' you, what is happening when it does and what you can do about it.

It’s about an attitude of mind that allows you to take everything in your stride.

There will be lots to takeaway from this session for sure!

We are very relaxed and informal at our meetings but are a very supportive network always looking to help and support one another. 💚

Sorry I’m a bit late posting this but yesterday I welcomed 8 amazing Fabulous Networking members and 2 visitors which was so lovely! 💚 We all took our turn to introduce ourselves and describe our businesses in 15 words- quite the challenge but memorable! We were then mind-blown by Dipa Kotak’s talk on LinkedIn and what we should and shouldn’t be doing! Inspirational! Thank you Dipa!

Something a bit different tonight!

Well done to Grant Notman and Richard Hayes MSWW of assets and fellow panellists for a very informative and enjoyable, yes really, evening at event. 👀🥳

Nice to see so many people attending an event about something that nobody wants to talk about. We all know that death and taxes are the two certainties in life but nobody wants to talk about it. 🤫

I speak from personal experience of guessing what somebody would want for their funeral and trying to do the best for them so we really should talk about it more and make the leaving party all about them and their wishes just like we would for a big birthday party 🤔

Let’s have one more local to me next time please! And get people talking!
