Shameless over share alert!
Someone (innocently) remarked that i was wasting myself doing what i do. The reason i started this initially was to overcome anxiety (ive been at the stage where i couldn't even do the school run) and while it has served its purpose in that respect, I've found that I'm actually quite lucky to be self employed. Yes, i studied law and french and psychology, and i graduated with honours in English and philosophy, but success means different things to different people. I did the big job in the city of London, and yes it paid the rent, it paid for driving lessons and a brand new car, it paid for our wedding and i got a lot out of it besides financial gain. But having small children is my focus right now and i dont want to do it all and be super mum. Im quite happy living simply as we do, so keep doing what suits you and don't mind what anyone else is doing!
