One of this week’s jobs to remove this willow tree for a local estate. Using the valtra to carry out an assisted fell with a winch line and then to load everything into trailers to be removed and stacked on the estate ready for chipping at a later date. Chipping with a view last week. We were out on a small local vineyard at the foot of the South Downs chipping up some ash cordwood to be used in the gardens and paths.

Knocking over some big ash trees this morning before heading back to the yard to carry on getting some log sacks filled up ready for those summer bbq’s. Ideal for open fires, log burners, fire pits and chiminea’s. Get your orders in before the summer rush so you’re prepared for those cosy summer bbq’s sitting round the fire.

A huge thanks to and for your help getting this job completed under pressure and within traffic management. Several ash trees with ash dieback and an oak in serious decline removed from an embankment off the A272 after our customer had a letter from the local council to get them made safe or removed.
