It’s with a heavy heart that we’re announcing the closure of Oakes Fisheries on 15th March. Our landlord has sold the building and so Billy would like to retire at age 75. We’d like to thank all our customers and friends for their valued custom over the last 6yrs.

We’ve had a trial run this evening and we can get to the shop. We’ve therefore had a change of heart and we’re going to open Friday and Saturday

We can’t hold off any longer, we’ve kept our prices as low as we can for as long as we can, but due to increasing energy costs and wholesale costs we’re having to increase our prices on certain products. We still believe we’re one of the cheapest chippies in the area and offer good value. We’d like to thank you in advance for your continued custom and look forward to seeing you all again this week.
