So today’s 10-minute challenge is to create a FAQ section (or at least make a start).

Think of the questions you get asked the most - rummage through your old emails or WhatsApp messages if you need some inspo, and then work in a few of your target keywords as you write your answers.

It doesn’t have to be perfect, even just a few FAQs can help potential clients feel more confident, and get you showing up in search results a little more.

Procrastination isn’t about laziness.

Most of the time, it’s about fear, overwhelm, or how your brain responds to pressure.

Once you understand your pattern, you can stop fighting it and start working with it.

Here are some strategies for each type:

👉 Perfectionist:Embrace 'good enough' and focus on completion, not perfection.

👉 Novelty Seeker:Make a detailed, actionable plan and break tasks into small steps.

👉 Rebel:Reframe tasks as a personal choice rather than an obligation.

👉 Crisis-Maker:Set artificial or public deadlines to create urgency earlier.

👉 Overdoer:Learn to say no and prioritise one must-do task each day.

👉 Worrier:Challenge the what ifs and take small steps out of your comfort zone to build confidence.

The goal isn’t to eliminate procrastination completely.

It’s to understand your pattern so you can move forward anyway.

One whole year of being married… I cannot believe how fast it’s gone 🥹

We made ourselves a promise that on our first anniversary, we'd look back through all our photos, rewatch our wedding video, and relive all the best bits.

And every time we do, I’m reminded of just how lucky we were to work with such an incredible bunch of wedding suppliers. The amount of care, love, and energy they pour into someone else’s day is honestly amazing.

But planning our own wedding gave me a little behind-the-scenes perspective as a couple. While searching for suppliers, there were a few things that instantly gave us the ick... and a few things that made certain suppliers stand out for all the right reasons.

Most of us set up our workflow… then forget about it.

Or we tinker and fiddle, a line here, a sentence there and suddenly things don't line up. Your brochure says one thing, your contract says another, emails don’t flow, and branding's far from 'on brand'...

So, today's 10-minute challenge is to submit an enquiry to yourself and go through the process:

👉 Does it flow from one step to the next?

👉 Is everything consistent across your emails, brochure and contract?

👉 Does it answer questions before they’re asked?

👉 Does it feel clear and reassuring?

👉 Would it make you want to book?

Your workflows are there to turn enquiries into bookings and shape how clients feel about you before you’ve even picked up the camera.

It’s time to make sure they’re actually doing their job.

When did you last update your Google Business Profile… be honest now 😅

If you want your photography business to be easier to find (and look legit when people Google you), a quick update is worth doing.

Have a look at your Google Business Profile and check:

👉 Is your contact info still correct?

👉 Does your description match what's on your website/socials?

👉 Are your services accurate?

👉 Are your opening times up to date?

👉 Have you filled in ALL the boxes Google gives you?

Google takes any sign of an active business as a good thing, and this is one of those things that’s easy to put off, but makes a difference once it’s up to date.

Ten minutes. Done.

Bonus point 👉 If you REALLY want to push the boat out, add quick update while you’re there. You don’t need to write anything new, copying over your last Instagram post is enough.
