The Play
In a quiet French household, two devoted sisters work tirelessly as servants, their lives defined by duty, isolation and an unbreakable bond. But beneath the calm surface, resentment, longing and frustration are building. As pressures mount and tensions reach breaking point, events take a devastating and unforgettable turn.
Inspired by the infamous Papin sisters case that shocked France. Wendy Kesselman's acclaimed drama is as powerful exploration of family loyalty, social division and the hidden forces that can drive ordinary people to extraordinary acts.
