📦 August Round-Up at Lil Packaging!

While school has been out for summer, we decided to mark
20 years since Royal Mail introduced size-based letter tariffs, a change that monumentally reshaped the way products are packed and posted.

We celebrated the Lil A3 Envelope, invented for the world's largest internet retailer, and one that changed ecommerce packaging forever. We are still incredibly proud of this today!

Fred talked about the encouraging signs that ecommerce is back on the up in our short video. He shared his thoughts on the changing landscape, and what it could mean for brands and retailers moving forward.

We shared a behind the scenes peek into the factory floor, showing how our plastic free packaging is manufactured at our Huntingdon site.

The new large letter format encouraged slimmer, more efficient packaging and dramatically reduced reliance on bulky bubble mailers for many items.
