One of my projects doing the most transformative youth programme that combines heritage skills training, mental wellbeing coaching and opportunity for young people who face leaving education with very few prospects.
They are actively looking for sponsors to support match funding they have received from the lottery.
Please share this far and wide to help them... this pilot programme will be rolled out to more schools as the restoration project progresses.
The Walled Garden - Cluny Community Garden
What if you could help preserve Scotland's heritage... and change a young person's future at the very same time?
This autumn, Cluny Community Walled Garden will launch a pioneering Youth Heritage Skills Programme in partnership with Kemnay Academy.
Together, we're doing something rather special.
We're bringing together master craftspeople and young people to learn traditional skills that are becoming increasingly rare. Drystone dyking. Lime mortaring. Blacksmithing. Traditional joinery. Stained glass conservation.
These are the skills that built our villages, churches, castles and historic landscapes.
If we don't pass them on, we risk losing them forever.
But this programme is about much more than heritage.
It's about giving young people the opportunity to discover confidence, purpose and pride in what they can achieve. To work alongside experienced craftspeople who will encourage them, challenge them and help them realise that they are capable of far more than they may ever have believed.
For some, this could be the beginning of a career. For others, it could simply be the moment they realise they have something valuable to offer the world.
We're now looking for a small number of Founding Partners who share that vision.
Your support won't simply fund a programme.
It will help preserve traditional skills, inspire the next generation and create opportunities that will last long after the final workshop has ended.
If you'd like to become part of the story from the very beginning, we'd love to hear from you.

One wall. One skill. One young person.
Sometimes that's all it takes to change a life.
