One of my participants, have a look at a programme that was designed by me can make a difference.
A Case Study from one of my participants Kirsty Patrick that accessed the ‘’Yourself in mind’’ programme which I designed personally around the experiences I have had working with mental health. This programme features a mixture of mindfulness, motivational talking and self-realisation as I believe the mind controls everything in life and plays a massive part in your quality of life. The next programme begins September 2017.
Hi Chris, just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the mindfulness course. A little bit about me.... 37 yr old Morgage advisor with Hyperactive 6yr old son & Grace who is now 11mths old. I'm not usually one to give compliments but here's how you have helped me..... You probably didn't realise at first how anxious and nervous I was. I'm pretty good at hiding it ... but I stopped driving when I was around 6mths pregnant due to anxiety. I went from being a highly successful professional working 6 days a week and loving life, but after Grace was born I still didn't drive and it was only after a few of your sessions that I built up the courage to get back behind the wheel using the 3 breaths technique. I used to love driving and my husband suggested we change the car but even that didn't help. Not only have I started driving again but I've started riding a motorbike, which I've wanted to do for years but never had the confidence.
I forgot to add in the bit about where I discharged myself from counselling because I had 2 sessions, she gave me a CD with relaxation techniques and a self help worksheet! Now I'm not saying she wasn't genuine .... but let's say I no longer needed her services after starting mindfulness.... u just know when someone's doing a job because they have to... not because they want to .... you clearly enjoy what you do and that makes all the difference.
