🍝 A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR NEW ORANGESTORM GIGA! 😂

Well, our new large-format 3D printer has certainly made an entrance at Sign Forge!

Built on Tuesday, set to work on a large print overnight, and this is what greeted me when I arrived at the workshop this morning! 👀

Not quite the masterpiece we were expecting!

Several hours of crawling around the floor, manually levelling the machine and learning its processes and tolerances followed.

But that's what research and development is all about. Experimenting, troubleshooting, learning and occasionally producing an impressive amount of spaghetti! 🍝

Our new Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga is part of our Erewash Borough Council R&D grant project, and we're documenting the journey, including the spectacular mishaps!

🎃👻 A little BOO-bee surprise!

A big thank you to Jamie Denning, one of our Halloween Pumpkin Competition runners-up!

Jamie popped in to collect his 3D-printed BOO-bee prize and kindly agreed to have his photo taken! 📸

We couldn't leave our runners-up empty-handed, so we decided to spread a little extra Halloween cheer with these cheeky little ghosts! 👻🧡

🎃🍬 113 SWEETS, THREE ENTRIES AND THREE WINNERS! 👻🏆

Well, our Halloween Pumpkin Competition has come to an end, and the magic number was 113 sweets!

A huge congratulations to our winner, who's won our 3D-printed pumpkin and all those lovely sweets! 🎉

Now, we only had three entries, and although we hadn't planned on offering runner-up prizes, we thought it would be a shame to leave anyone empty-handed!

So, congratulations also go to our two other contestants, who've each won one of our special BOO-bee prizes! 👻😂

They'll each receive a cute little 3D-printed ghost with a colourful pumpkin perched on its head. Pop a battery-operated LED tealight underneath and it gives off a lovely spooky glow! ✨

Three entries, three winners! Not quite the turnout we'd imagined, but we've had a bit of fun, and that's what counts! 🤓

Thank you to everyone who took part. We're already thinking about what mischief we can get up to next!

💀 Who says skulls are just for Halloween?

We've been having a little fun at Sign Forge Studio with these rather striking 3D-printed skulls!

With their flowing, sculptural lines and contemporary styling, they look fantastic in different colours. But add a little light and they take on a whole new personality! ✨

From bold pinks and dramatic reds to a warm, atmospheric glow, it's amazing how light can transform a simple decorative object.

Standing 114 mm tall, they're perfect for a bookshelf, desk or somewhere that needs a little character.

👻🎃 A little ghost with a pumpkin and a rather interesting past!

Meet the latest spooky little addition to Sign Forge Studio!

Those curious little arms are inspired by Haniwa, ancient Japanese clay figures. A little history meets a little Halloween magic! ✨

Standing just 77 mm tall, our three-colour 3D-printed ghost comes complete with a colourful pumpkin and space for an LED tealight to give it a lovely ghostly glow. 🕯️

Cute, quirky and just a little bit spooky! 🤓
