There’s something that genuinely makes me stop and smile…
when my kids choose to make my mixes 🥹

This morning Daisy made waffles, then sat helping her brother revise his Business Studies while eating them.
And I had one of those quiet “this is exactly why I started this” moments.

I’ve also been reading a bit lately about foods that can support focus - especially for kids revising - and it’s really interesting:

🥜 Nuts - packed with healthy fats, protein and magnesium, which help keep energy steady (no big sugar crashes mid-revision) and support brain function that’s why our mixes are ideal as most are made from an almond flour base
🥚Eggs - a great source of choline, which helps with memory and concentration

🫐 Blueberries – full of antioxidants that support brain health and may help with focus

Nothing fancy. Just real food doing its thing 🧠

Which makes those waffle moments feel even better ❤️

This morning at with ✨to hear more about their next GS 10,000 small business program, which sounds amazing.!

To be honest I went in thinking this is probably out of my league… but came out thinking “actually, why not?”

And I think that’s kind of the point.

One of the biggest things holding women back in business is confidence according to the stats and are so good at shifting that 💛

If you’ve been thinking about starting something but haven’t taken the leap yet… just do it - jump and the parachute will appear 🪂 as they say at BWB!

On that note - if anyone’s on the fence and wants to chat, I’m always happy to share the real ups and downs of the last 5 years - I’m no expert but I’ve lived it!

Had a fab day listening to leaders, journalists, investors, buyers and biohackers from the health & wellness industry speak about what’s new, challenges for smaller brands vs the big boys - specifically what’s called wellness washing where misleading market claims are becoming common place (advice was read the label!) as well as meeting other founders and stocking up on some genuinely healthy products!! 💚 Thank you and Matt Todd for a great event.
