Delighted to see GK Horsemanship Equipment today. It's always wonderful to spend time with brilliant entrepreneurs, even better when you get to try the wonderful equipement that they make on your own horses.

This is the part of having your own business that people don't talk about. The feeling that you're the only one trying to be all things to all people, the wondering how you'll work out the next step for your business.

After another wild week of working with clients from the UK and Europe I wanted to take a moment to shout out two fantastic business that I visited.
It seems that more than ever, I’m signposting my clients to the other services that can support them in growing their businesses, beyond coaching, mentoring and the conversion of vision to action that makes up so much of my work.

As a Coach with a passion for helping people high performers create the world they want to live and work in, be that coaching the British Reining Team at the World Championships (coming home with a silver, a bronze and a handful of PB's), or working with an entrepreneur or a business leader, who is all things to all people, there is one topic that comes up again and again...

The power of noticing and compunding the small wins.

With a few huge projects on the radar at the moment, this one almost got missed entirely, so here's me practicing what I preach with a little celebration.

I am delighted to see Halse Coaching & Consulting featured in Your Business Magazine, it's a big one for Austin Blair and I because of the excellent quality of the articles, and because it lead to me picking back up with people I hadn't spoken to since I worked for Yeo Valley a very long time ago!

It's been a busy month of writing, giving talks, and there are a few podcasts waiting in the wings too.

I'm in London with a little more time than anticipated on Monday, so if you fancy catching up for a coffee, drop me a line.

Things I have learned this week:

-Brilliant women in leadership roles consider quitting their jobs (1 in 10 do) because of symptoms that they understand as themselves under performing...these are often hormonal and can be treated!

-Menopause-related tribunal claims are up by 3x between 2022 and 2024

Lots of us have no idea what to do about all this!

After an eye opening talk with Hazel Hayden from Bristol Menopause & Wellwoman Clinic to the clients of one of the most progressive PT's I know , what took my breath away most, was the number of women who were struggling, substantially, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!

This is a horror show for the women concerned, the bit that really got me thinking is that this is a huge loss to the organisations that need them at peak performance, especially when Gallup estimates the cost of replacing senior managers as up to 200% of salary.

If your business needs a full wrap around service to ensure you have a Menopause Action Plan that is not just a piece of paper, but something tangible, that works...with training and meaningful specialised clinical support, wherever you are in the country, get in touch and I can help you be ready for the law changing in 2027.

In good news, I have also learned that my need for sourdough is now legitimised, women in midlife can find carbs helpful to support cognitive function, and we should all be eating more fermented foods. So be gone carb fear circa 2010's I will be eating my carbs merrily!
