Bathroom refit recently completed in Alness.
This will be my last refit for the foreseeable future due to a change in employment opportunities.
The painting/decorating on this bathroom has been/will be completed by the customer.

2nd of two “Wickes” contracted bathroom install/refits in same property.
Fitting/connecting of illuminated mirror and final electrical work to be completed by electrical contractor.
Basin position moved to allow install of 1700x700mm shower tray/enclosure.

1st of two “Wickes” contracted bathroom install/refits in same property.
Small outhouse bathroom (shower room) install completed, both waste pipes cored out and soil stack fitted and tied in to existing ground works waste pipe work.
A small kitchen area adjacent to the bathroom was also plumbed with an electric water heater providing hot water to the kitchen sink and bathroom basin. Final fitting of pre-fitted kitchen units completed with small splash-back made from bathroom wet wall off-cuts.
Electrical work sub-contracted by ICM Electrical.

“Wickes” contracted installation in Dingwall.
The main priority of this refit was the removal of the “modular” high stepped shower unit; to be replaced with a low profile shower tray for ease of access and a more spacious shower enclosure.
Painting to window/architrave & skirting woodwork being completed by customer.
Shaver socket near basin to be fitted/connected by electrical contractor.

“Wickes” contracted installation near Invermoriston.
Painting, final finishing and skirting to wall, ceiling & window surround areas to be completed by customer.
As the original shower/basin waste outlet pe*******on height was to be kept on this project, the shower tray had to be raised significantly to ensure adequate drainage/fall.
Original pipe trunking was boxed/extended to accommodate a tidy shower wall finish and to meet the combined basin/toilet vanity unit in a flush manner.

Full bathroom refit near Balintore recently completed.
Ample available space used to install a separate shower/cubicle along with replacement of other existing appliances.
Significant damp repairs to flooring and stud wall were rectified on this job; and the installation of an operational shower/cubicle was prioritised early on in the job prior to remaining rip-out and refit.
Illuminated mirror waiting to be connected/installed above basin by electrician.
Towel warmer chrome valves to be swapped for black items once in stock.

Part-refit of main bathroom for customer on Black Isle, who I recently completed a full refit of their ensuite a few months ago.
Preparation and painting to flaking ceiling.
Removal, renewal and re-plumb of shower enclosure area and repairs to water damaged floorboards as required.
Preparation and wall papering to applicable walls.
Vinyl floor tiles to all floor areas.
Ceiling lights & extractor to be fitted by electrician.
Painting to window frame/ledge to be completed by customer.

Bathroom appliance install completed in Tain.
This house has undergone major refurbishment over the last few years, with the property hot & cold water pipe work re-plumb; and downstairs shower room install completed by myself 1-2 years ago.
The joinery and specialist tiling on this upstairs bathroom were completed by separate contractors.
This Victorian style bathroom utilised the limited space available to accommodate the free-standing bathtub/shower and other appliances to great effect.
Shower curtain, shaver socket, bathtub rim protective film removal & remaining finishings to be completed by customer. Brass nut on shower (curtain) rail also to be replaced once chrome nut received.

En-suite refit on the Black Isle over last few weeks.
Plumbing routed as required for new appliances and positions.
Required plasterboard renewed with reinforcement timber fitted behind for “floating” units.
General preparation and painting to ceiling and applicable walls; Wet wall to remaining walls.
1400x800mm shower tray and enclosure with concealed mixer unit. Original single basin position adapted for twin floating basins.
Outside tap for rear of property plumbed from W/C water supply, with covered/accessible internal isolation valve.
Floating drawer/worktop and cupboard units, and floating shelves near shower enclosure; and new window ledge fitted.
Vinyl click flooring to floor.
Electrical work completed by customer sourced electrical contractor.

08/07/2022

Refit completed in Alness over last few weeks.
Shower wall removed and replaced with glass shower cubicle to create a more spacious bathroom, and fitted appliances plumbed/located in near identical positions.
Wet wall installed 3 of 4 walls, and remaining wall and ceiling prepared and painted.
Traditional radiator replaced for chrome towel warmer/radiator.
Vinyl floor panelling installed to floor and all required finishings.
Customers electrician to install new ceiling lights and extractor and test electric shower.
