Management Accounts Assistant (Part-time) - £21k - £30k pro rata

Based out of Inverness we work throughout Scotland assisting businesses across all industry sectors.
We are currently looking for an energetic and forward thinker to join our team as a Management Accounts Assistant, someone that can help shape our fast-growing business.

Day-to-day duties will include,
· Credit control
· Payroll
· Maintaining healthy cashflow
· Updating and maintaining cashflow forecasting
· Updating and maintaining management accounts
· Weekly KPI reporting and WIP reporting
· Assisting with applications and tenders
· Closing jobs down and invoicing
· CIS and VAT returns
· Processing invoices to be paid
· Seeking opportunities for business growth and onboarding new clients
As a management accounts assistant at IDM Safety Solutions you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our clients and team as well as ensuring that a premium service is provided at all times. You will work with our in house team, clients, suppliers and contractors across various industry sectors so it would be advantageous to have a diverse portfolio of experience in finance and accounts. You will need to be confident and competent to work unsupervised as well as part of a contributing team that communicates well. You will also be expected to use our bespoke job management software to issue WIP reports in addition to supporting colleagues logging and updating jobs.
Skills we're looking for;
· An accounts qualification or willingness to work towards a professional accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
· Proficiency in using Xero accountancy software.
· Knowledgeable with CIS and VAT including domestic reverse charge vat.
· Strong communication and influencing skills.
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
· A high level of accuracy and the ability to compile detailed financial reports using our bespoke job management software.
· Ability to work well with others, make decisions under pressure and delegate where necessary.
· Good up-to-date knowledge of financial legislation.
· Spot financial anomalies quickly and report to directors.
· Expert proficiency in spoken and written English.
