As the phased switch off of the Radio Teleswitch Service (RTS) continues, we'd encourage anyone who still has an RTS meter to contact their supplier as soon as possible to book a replacement appointment.

02/06/2026

⚠️ Your RTS meter is being switched off – don't risk losing your heating or hot water! 🥶 The good news? A simple call to your energy supplier can get a smart meter installed 📞. Stay warm and in control – act today! Get in touch if you need advice.

02/06/2026

RTS meters rely on a radio signal that is now being permanently switched off.

Switch-offs started last month and will continue until the end of June.

Once that signal goes, these meters stop working properly. This means your heating and hot water could stop, switch off and on at the wrong times, or become harder to control.

There are still hundreds of homes locally that may not realise this affects them. Check your electricity meter now and check in on anyone you think might need help.

Complete this form now for help, or help someone vulnerable complete it.
