Our AGM was completed without too many issues and we're all set up now for the new season starting in September.

The committee were returned en masse with a slight variation.

Bob Wares remains as chairman with Jacquie Macdonald staying as secretary but also taking on the roll of treasurer. Bob Woodward remains on the committee but has relinquished the treasurer title. He will still be the man on the door taking your money though, and is remains vice chairman.

Calum Campbell and Bill Law were also re elected to the committee.

We also welcomed Fred Millwood onto the committee, increasing the committee by one. Welcome aboard Fred.

After the meeting we were entertained by a former Scottish accordion champion. Eric Bell did the honours with his wife Carol on keyboards.

Some really good stuff from Eric and Carol including a rarely heard tango.

A few piano solos and some singalong numbers sent the Highland faithful off on their summer break in great spirits.

We hope to see you all back in September.

Help get our pals Wick AFC (fellow nominees at the 2026 NAAFC BAFFI Awards) to 2000 followers!! Everyone asks how we managed to get to 4000 followers……don't worry, we have no idea either🤣🤣🤣. Maybe it’s the craic🤣but we suspect it’s the music 🎶🥁🪗🎻🎹

A lovely concert to keep you going through the summer months…..
