Our Story

Highland Office Equipment (HOE) was established in Inverness in May 1974 and we have always been proud of our excellent reputation for high sales integrity and first class after sales service. HOE is part of the Capital Document Solutions group - Scotland's largest independent supplier of photocopiers, office equipment and document solutions. We also partner with leading software suppliers including Safecom, Equitrac, eCopy and Laserfiche to help you set rules around your copy/print output whilst also ensuring your documents remain secure. In November 1998 we relocated to purpose-built premises at Technology House, Harbour Road, Inverness and since then, have seen phenomenal growth. To meet the demands of the business, Technology House has become not only a modern showroom with ample customer parking, but also the home to our offices and warehousing. HOE has forged long term relationships with many top manufacturers such as Konica Minolta, Hewlett Packard, Panasonic, Ricoh, OKI, Senator, Bisley, RH and Torasen. These manufacturers have relied on us to achieve excellent sales levels of their products within the Highlands and Islands area. Past and present clients include The Highland Council, NHS Highland, UKAEA, HIE, Lifescan, Tulloch Homes plus numerous large, medium-sized and small businesses. Our company's future is assured with sales and profitability continuing to increase steadily as the Highlands and Islands develops into one of the most rapid growth areas within the UK. We are well placed to meet the needs this development brings and as the technology of our industry changes further and new office developments are built within Inverness, new equipment and office furniture sales opportunities will continue to evolve.
