Our Team at About Care Services would like to say a massive thank you to the Suffolk E-zec Medical Transport team for helping us to go above and beyond with safely transporting one of our lovely, end of life and housebound clients with a visit to Felixstowe to feel the fresh air and witness the lovely view.

We could never of achieved this without your support and dedication to help grant the wish and improve the well being of our service user.

Would like to personally thank Kym for agreeing to help us, alongside the fabulous crew that attended Charlotte and Jay. Charlotte and Jay made this such a Relaxed, Emotional, Positive and Exceptional Experience for all of us at About Care.

A Lovely recent review of about care services from Denise-

A small but dedicated care agency who looked after my mom over the early summer 2022.

They gave an excellent professional but friendly service with their team. Always paying attention to detail & to the client’s needs & wishes. They were very timely & respectable too.

They are run by a wonderful management team including Abigail, Ellen & the director Mavis who is very experienced in this field.

Mavis is professional yet has a very tactful approach & is a highly skilled people person.

She strives ensures her care agency is run to the highest standards.

Unexpectedly a brief arrangement as mom’s health worsened so she had to be admitted to a nursing home.

I will always remember About Care & hold them dearly for looking after mom & give them my regards. It was a pleasure to deal with them & I wish Mavis, Ellen & her team every success. Yours sincerely Denise Chloe Tinsley

We are recruiting for a support worker to offer care to a man in his own home in the town centre. Shifts are 8-2pm 2-8pm or a 12-hour shift 8-8pm. We can discuss a flexible working pattern and can offer part time or full time hours.

Job description
At about care services we are looking for support worker to join our small friendly team supporting an individual to live safely in his own home in the town centre. Hours available mon-fri. Shift times are 8-2, 2-8 or 8-8. Set shift patterns can be arranged and 2 weekly roters can also be offered.

As a member of staff we provide all paid training and support to ensure you reach your potential. As a valued member of the team you will be supported every step of the way to develop and progress. We offer the chance to complete a NVQ qualification free of charge.

As support worker you will be a valued member of the team. Some of the duties you preform will include delivering care and support to our client, personal care, light household duties, medication and companionship.
