There's always something happening in the three towns ❤️ This is fantastic.

This is Zero waste week. For us at the Community Food shop and the Care and Repair Irvine team Zero waste is an aspiration for the whole year. Two ways you can help towards zero waste. For the community food shop check your cupboards to see if you have food items you know you will never consume. Drop them in and give others an opportunity to utilise the food. Secondly, if you have an item of clothing, small electrical or piece of furniture which could be repaired visit the repair drop in on a Wednesday (10-Noon). Richard or Veronika will be more than happy to give it a look at. It’s all free.

This kind of thing is a great way to declutter and also make a big difference in people's lives.

We are running incredibly low on bath and hand towels again. If you have a linen cupboard bursting under the weight of your hand and bath towels and you're ready for a clear out, do bear us in mind and we can put them to very good re-use in our starter packs, supporting folks get settled in their new homes.
