Project Spotlight | Solar & Battery Storage in Crieff, Perthshire

A solid solar and battery installation completed at a detached bungalow in Perthshire, making the most of a well-oriented south facing roof to generate and store energy through the day.

☀️ 16 × Trina Solar 450W Panels (South Facing Pitched Roof, 35 degree pitch), a 7.2kWp array
🐦 Full bird proofing fitted around the panels
🔋 Fox ESS EVO Series Battery (10.24kWh storage)
⚡ Fox ESS EVO 10 Series 3.68kW Hybrid Inverter, installed directly below the panels on the south elevation
🏡 Generation and storage working together so this household can use their own electricity day and night

A well-planned install on a great pitch for solar, with the battery and inverter positioned neatly below the array for a clean, efficient cable run.

Project Spotlight | Battery & Inverter Upgrade in Mauchline, East Ayrshire

Not every job starts from scratch. This one was about putting right what wasn't working and giving an existing solar system the storage setup it deserved, with a full inverter swap and new battery installation at a semi-detached home in East Ayrshire.

🔋 2 × Growatt ALP 5.1kWh Batteries (10.2kWh total storage)
⚡ Growatt SPH3600 3.68kW Hybrid Inverter, replacing a faulty Fox ESS unit fitted by a previous installer
🔌 Existing DC cabling extended and rerouted neatly to the new external inverter location beside the rear gate
🏡 An existing solar system now properly paired with reliable battery storage and a hybrid inverter that talks to it correctly

Sometimes the right job is stepping in to make someone else's install work the way it should. A new inverter, new batteries and clean cabling means this home can now actually get the benefit from the solar panels already on its roof.

Already have solar but not getting the most from it, or thinking about adding battery storage, we're keen to talk.

Project Spotlight | Garage Solar, Battery Storage & EV Charging in Banchory, Aberdeenshire

A well-rounded all-electric package at a detached home in Aberdeenshire, with the garage doing all the heavy lifting: dual-aspect solar across both roof faces, battery storage, inverter and EV charging all housed in one place.

☀️ 14 × JA Solar 465W Panels split across the east and west facing garage roof, a 6.5kWp dual-aspect array
🐦 Full bird proofing fitted at install
🔋 Fox ESS EP12 Plus Battery (11.52kWh storage)
⚡ Fox ESS F3600 G3 3.6kW Inverter, installed on the garage wall
🚗 Myenergi Zappi 7kW Tethered Black EV Charger, mounted on the garage wall
🏡 Generation, storage and smart EV charging all running from the same outbuilding

A dual-aspect layout means this system generates across more of the day, catching the morning sun from the east and the afternoon sun from the west, making the most of every available hour of daylight.

Want to know more about solar panels, battery storage or EV charging, or are in the process of exploring options, we're keen to talk.

🧱 55.2m² Internal Wall Insulation across both bedrooms and the living room, finished with a full plaster skim
🏚️ 54m² Knauf Loft Insulation covering the entire loft
