What a brilliant day at last week's IMIS Student Showcase

Brilliant keynote interview with Andy Mundy-Castle; a selection of inspiring new work from the students of Bournemouth University, University of Roehampton, University of Surrey and The University of Salford; Q&As with some of the students; some fantastic informative career advice and information from NAHEMI National Association for Higher Education in the Moving Image's Jeremy Bubb and CineCertified CIC Ambassador Hermes Contreras.

All topped off with an incredible panel featuring Delyth Thomas, Emile Nawagamuwa, Peter Beard and Yasmine Almosawi to discuss what it really takes to get ahead in the industry. And, of course, not forgetting the networking drinks after at Deluxe. Phew!

Thank must also go to Omar Mehtab, who returned once again to host the day, and ODEON Cinemas Group for kindly allowing IMIS to use their Tottenham Court Road venue.
