First full week of the summer holidays and it started with Stones & Stars Boutique Glamping murder mystery last night, with the beautiful Becky, set in a lovely location in Plymouth, and this was the view I woke up to on a Monday morning.

Now, I've dropped my daughter at the train station, left two teenagers asleep in the lounge and I'm back in my little office at the bottom of the garden.

This is exactly why I built my business the way I did, so summer holidays don't mean choosing between work and family. Your way works.

Well that was fun!

I had an alert to say someone’s logged into my iCloud account…. Declined as it was someone from somewhere I’d never heard of.

Changed my password as suggested

Then You are logged out of your iCloud account 🤯

Notification, this is a new device (definitely not) log in using another Apple product linked to your account, got the same message.

Then asked to change password again…. 😭

Luckily this worked, and it’s all sorted. 😮‍💨

One of the most common things I hear from the women I work with is: “I just don’t know where to start.”

And I get it. When you’re doing everything, the business, the house, the people…. Your brain is already full before you’ve even opened your laptop.

Here’s what I say: you don’t need a five year plan right now. You need to know what the next right thing is. Just one thing. The thing that’s going to move the needle today.

That’s not dumbing it down. That’s smart business.

Accountability isn’t complicated. It’s just someone else knowing what you said you’d do.

On your own, it’s easy to quietly renegotiate a goal and move on nobody’s checking, so nobody knows. Add one other person into the loop and everything shifts. Not because of pressure, but because you don’t want to have to explain why you didn’t follow through.

I see it all the time, someone mentions a goal in passing, and weeks later someone else asks “how did that go?” That question does more than any productivity app ever could.

Your way still works, accountability isn’t rigid plans or beating yourself up. It’s having someone in your corner who knows what you’re aiming for.

Starting the week right with a proper reset on a Sunday.

Went for a walk around the Hoe and Barbican and was lovely to get a sneaky peak at St Luke's Hospice Plymouth that launched today.

I downloaded the app, it’s £1.99 and you can log the light houses as you see them.

A great activity to do with the children or with your partner, hubby eventually got involved “there one over there” 🤣

We got a 2 miles walk in as well so great for our own mental health getting out in the beautiful sunshine.

Here are some of the lovely lighthouses we found 🫶🏻
