👻 10 Years of WSPR… and We’re Still Listening

Today marks 10 years of West Scotland Paranormal Research (WSPR) — because apparently we thought spending our free time in dark, historic buildings in Scotland was a perfectly normal hobby.

Based in Renfrewshire (where the weather is dramatic enough without spirits helping), we’ve spent a decade:

• Whispering back at empty rooms
• Debating whether that noise was “definitely paranormal” or “definitely the plumbing”
• Reviewing hours of footage to find 3 seconds of “did you hear that?!” and screaming at the tv
• Respectfully diving into the history of incredible local locations and building strong relationships with venues
• Draining more batteries than we’d ever admit publicly

We like our chills the old-fashioned way: quiet, focused, and occasionally questioning our life choices at 2am.

From historic research to careful evidence review, we’ve always aimed to approach the unexplained with respect, curiosity… and a decent sense of humour.

Ten years, countless investigations, and we’re still listening for the next whisper.

Thank you to everyone who has supported WSPR along the way. Here’s to the next decade in Scotland — whatever answers (or questions) it brings.
