🪵 HOW DO WE KNOW OUR LOGS ARE READY TO BURN? 🔥

We don’t just guess! 👀

We regularly moisture test our firewood to make sure it’s properly dried and under 20% moisture before it heads out to our customers.

Why does moisture matter?

🔥 Better heat output
🪵 More efficient burning
💨 Less smoke
🧹 Less soot and build-up

It’s a simple check, but an important part of making sure the firewood leaving Barochan is dry and ready to burn
