Had the amazing privilege earlier on Islay watching a peregrine shepherd a curlew until it finally got its prey. I know poor curlew but that’s nature. Absolutely amazing to watch

So another day watching a pair of golden eagles. The female sits on the nest all morning and after 4 hours the male turns up. He has come back empty handed and as if to say suppose I better take something he clumsily lands on the branch of a conifer, lifts then duly drops a stick at the nest then takes off again. I think it’s name is Ross
