New Special Feature Blog - National Leathercraft Day: Meet The Makers ✨

Leathercraft is about more than the finished piece. It’s about creativity, patience, experimentation and finding your own way of working with the material.

To celebrate National Leathercraft Day, we shone a spotlight on five talented makers from the J. Wood Leathers community and the incredible work they create with leather.

A letter we received this week from one of our customers 🙌

Back in September, we welcomed a customer to our workshop who selected a few hides to use for upholstering a couple of chairs. We recently received a letter sharing how the project went, along with some photos of the finished pieces.

A special mention to Amy, who helped during his visit and received many thanks for her knowledge and assistance.

We always really appreciate our customers taking the time to share their work with us, and absolutely love seeing the ways our leather is used!

Meet Darren, our new Warehouse Manager! 👋

He is the driving force behind J Wood Leathers' warehouse operations, keeping everything organised, efficient, and running smoothly day in and day out.

Outside of work, Darren is a huge football fan, but most of his free time is spent supporting his two kids in their hobbies and activities – something he happily admits has become his own main hobby.

We're delighted to have Darren on the team!
