Welcome back to the Darkside , now dressed in leather.
Nearly finished.
Just have to beeswax the sheath and maybe put a couple of rivets on.
Spurned on by my good friend Chris Grant I have tried to replicate the features of the knife .
The next time this knife will be seen it'll be at Bannockburn 700 ;)
Hope you all like it , it's been fun.

Welcome to the darkside.
This is the re-enactment dagger finally finished , polished and blunted for the battlefield.
Please note the textured scales/handle ;)
I'm off to do some unusual leather work now. See ye in a bit :)

I thought I'd show what I'm upto of late.
A re-enactment dagger. Half way through and 6 days work so far. The guard took 6 attempts to get right and 3 days work alone.I thought I'd show what I'm upto of late.
Guard and pommel are forged finished and polished as they are , warts and all ;)
Still needs scales for handling ,rivets, and leatherwork.
