What is the number one mistake when creating packaging for a new product? Too much! Too much of everything, particularly for inventors bringing their first product to market. Just too tempting to provide a photo of every detail, and include a lengthy description of every element, just in case. I get it. But less is more! Believe in the power of the product and leave a little to the imagination……

I'm currently working with a lovely chap who's been trying to break through with a fantastic product for over 5 years now. His strategy, Amazon product description, pricing and packaging just need a few tweaks, and then I think he'll truly be off and running.

I love being able to help people in this way. The knowledge that I have and take for granted can be so useful to others who just haven't been trained to think in the same way.
