If you've got scraps of paper all over the place with ideas, notes, things to think about, shopping reminders, and actual work-stuff that needs to be done to, you know, run your business...

And if you ALSO know that’s not exactly sustainable.

And no matter how many tools, proven systems, processes you try… they just… don’t stick…

This one's for you!

I was recently featured on System to THRIVE - a podcast dedicated to helping you build your business with authenticity and transparency.

We had such a great conversation, about what to do when you want REAL productivity that lasts.

Will you check it out?

Alyson and Jennie's fab podcast is on every major platform, including Apple, Alexa, Spotify and Pandora - or I'll pop a link to the episode in the comments below.

Let me know what you think!

Defrazzlement.

I made up a new word. Do you like it? (It was almost defrazzlementification, but that’s just silly).

Do you need some defrazzlement in your life?

Yes?

Then come join me on 14th June, when I’ll be sharing musings, insights and knowledge nuggets that’ll help you get the important stuff done, without hitting a wall of overwhelm.

I created this for you if you’re frazzled and frantic and you want to be defrazzled and unfrantic.

If there’s always so much to do and not enough hours in the day.

If you’re fed up of your fabulous ideas not getting a look in (because you’re too busy dealing with everything else that’s on your plate).

And if you’re ready to make a small, simple change so you can ENJOY the business and life you’re creating for yourself.

Here are some of the things we’ll cover during this gentle, grounded masterclass:

💡 How to get your brilliant ideas out of your notebooks and into the world so you can make a bigger impact with your work

💡 A simple way to get the important things done, even when it feels like there’s too much to do

💡 An empowering approach to planning that puts YOU at the centre, so you can get organised without feeling hemmed in

Grab a cuppa (or feel free to bring your lunch!) and join me on the sofa for this gentle, grounded session, and discover a simple way to get stuff done, so you can make progress in your business without drowning in a sea of overwhelm.

I’ll pop the link in the comments below. It would be fabulous to see you!

Are you paying attention?

Or do you move through your days on autopilot?

Of course autopilot has its place, but if you want to be sure you're investing your precious time wisely, you have to pay attention.

Makes sense, right?

Ruth Gilbey and I had great fun talking about that, and the five pillars of compassionate, sustainable productivity, during this episode of the Inspiring Women in Business podcast.

If you often feel there's too much to do and not enough time, there are lots of nuggets that might help in the full episode, so I'll pop a link in the comments.

Enjoy!

Experiment alert! I made something fancy, and a) it was fun and b) I rather like it!

I’m planning to do more of these short audio doodahs to share my ponderings about productivity so you can get stuff done with less stress and more ease.

This first one was a bit of an experiment, so I went right back to basics, talking about how we define productivity in the first place and why ‘get more done in less time’ sends me into panic mode.

(There are a few things I’ll do differently next time, but in the spirit of getting stuff done with the minimum of fuss and bother, good enough is perfect!)

"If you haven't had at least two breakdowns you're not working hard enough."

Can you believe that a manager would think it's ok to say that to a member of their team?

My mind was well and truly boggled when Hannah Power shared that with me as we recorded this episode of her fabulous podcast. You'll be relieved to know that neither of us subscribe to that completely ridiculous - and VERY damaging - way of thinking!

I loved this conversation, not least because Hannah and I are in some ways very different. Hannah describes herself as fast-paced, whereas I'm naturally much slower. And yet we've both experienced burn-out and chosen to reframe the way we view productivity as a result.

I'll pop the link to the podcast episode in the comments below.

I'd love to hear what you think (and whether you're team fast or team slow...there's no right or wrong!)

Enjoy!

I got such fab feedback the last time I did this, I’m doing it again!

Next week I’ll be taking to the sofa to share musings, insights and knowledge nuggets that’ll help you make the important stuff happen, without hitting a wall of overwhelm.

Care to join me? It'll be wonderful to have you with us!

I created this for you if you have loads of fabulous ideas but there’s always too much to do.

Or if you’re longing to spend your time and energy on the RIGHT next steps that’ll help grow your business (NOT what’s shouting the loudest).

And if you’re ready to make a small, simple change so you can ENJOY the business and life you’re creating for yourself.

Here are some of the things we’ll cover during this gentle, grounded masterclass:

Ever got yourself in a pickle wondering about the best time to do something?

It's been coming up a lot in my conversations with clients recently, and I've just found myself doing the exact same thing.

Getting in a pickle about whether it's too early to invite people to a thing that's happening on 17th February.

Do you know what I decided?

Some people like plenty of notice so they can protect the space in their diary. And some people are more likely to wait until nearer the time.

So guess what else I decided! There's no right/wrong and there's no time like the present!

Soooo.... would you like to come to a thing wot I'm doing on 17th February?

If you'd like to get your brilliant ideas out of your notebooks and into the world so you can make a bigger impact with your work, this gentle, grounded Masterclass is for you.

I'm going to be on the sofa, sharing insights, ideas and practical tips to help you get stuff done, even when it feels like there's too much to do.

I'll pop a linkydink to more info in the comments below (because, you know, algorithm 🙄).

I'd love to see you there! 😍

I did some first class dilly dallying and wimping out over the summer. Well, not any more!

If there's anything that this year has taught us, it's that things need to change. And if we want to make a change, it's time to stop dilly dallying. We can't do it on our own, so it's time to get support.

Hear my rallying cry in my lastest blog, and tell me... are you in?

What does RuPaul have to do with a more compassionate approach to productivity?

I talked about that and other ways you can get things done with less stress and more ease over on the Women Who Create podcast.

Debbie and Amy have so much wisdom to share about running and marketing your business and they do it all with a big dose of sunshine. Chatting with them for this podcast interview was like sitting down for coffee and cake with friends. Such fun!

I'll pop a link to the podcast in the comments below so you can check it out if you'd like to ☕️🍰

(and how gorgeous is that illustration? It's properly credited in Debbie's original post below.)

Want to get more done with less stress?

Perfectly illustrated by this fabulous illustration! (Go check her out on insta, she's fab!)

This week's podcast we talk to Bettylou about inviting more ease into your work.

In this episode, we chatted about:
👉 What productivity really means to
👉 How we can build time for what makes us happy into our business
👉 The importance of slowing down and what that means in practice

If you've tried everything to get organised and none of it has worked, I'm 100% certain that YOU are not the problem.

Perhaps the missing piece of the puzzle is having someone at your side who can help you create a system that'll work for you.

That's why I bloomin' LOVE Tame Your To-Do List so much. We gather as a group, I teach a framework and then together we adapt and tweak it to make sure it feels good and works for you.

Doors close tomorrow, so if you want in NOW's the time!

To-do list making your head spin? Does your to-do list feel scattered and all over the place? If you like the sound of a to-do list that’s not just a mish-mash of things to do, but that’s beautifully organised and supports you in actually getting that shizzle done, read on!

Getting back into the swing of things after a break can be tough, eh? Well, it turns out it doesn't have to be...

"This is my first day back since lockdown. It’s been months since I've sat at my desk and done a full day's work without my daughter around.

Previously I would have spent most of my day going ‘what am I doing?’, unfocused and not really getting much done.

However, I got straight back into it. I knew what I was doing. I didn't have to make too many decisions. I didn't have to think too much. I just had to look at my list.

I got through 9 tasks today, which is exactly what I wanted to get done, and I feel good!"

The fabulous Sarah Swanton did Tame Your To-Do List six months ago and she's still going strong! We had a great chat earlier this week and I was so happy to hear that she got more from the course than she'd expected.

I'll add the link to Tame Your To-Do List below 😊

If you're ready to move into the Autumn with a fabulous new to-do list that’ll take you from overwhelmed and frustrated to organised and in control, this is your moment!

The doors to Tame Your To-Do List close this weekend, so now's the time to book your spot.

People who've done the course already use words like 'empowered', 'joyful' and 'supportive' to describe their new relationship with their to-do list.

I promise it's possible to focus and get stuff done with greater ease simply by changing up how you organise your to-dos.
