A fabulous project in the Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
The clients wanted to replace an aged conservatory, which while useful needed replaced.
The space was claimed for the extended kitchen, and beautifully crafted with (mostly) local oak framed glazing, chosen, matured and milled with the help of my clients. The space now is so bright and airy, with the new zinc roof covering the whole single storey rear.

Apologies for the radio silence - it has been very busy.
A few projects which have had approvals, over the last few months:

Building Warrant aproval 30 April 2025 (Planning Nov 2024) for a 1980s bungalow refurbishment, to upgrade energy performance and be fully accessible. Works are well underway, and I can't wait to see it finished.

A barn conversion near Killearn, to create an upstairs storey with office space: Planning approval January 2025

Planning approval for a house extension, to create a self contained 1 bedroom annex; Planning approval April 2025

Building Warrant approval for extensions and modifications to an 18th century railway cottage (eagerly awaited and starting on site asap), near Killearn: August 2025

Planning approval for an extension and internal layout modifications to a 1980s house in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park; April 2025

So we are busy with putting together a few Building Warrants together at the moment, getting a few projects on site and quite a few projects are just in the early stages. All fun!

PLANNING APPROVED!
With no fuss or conditions.

A nice 2 bedroom cottage is to be extended to provide a dining kitchen and dining area/sun room, and en-suite facilities to the bedrooms.
The existing openings are to be extended down to floor level, to allow a light and airy feeling in the public rooms for entertaining.

for change of use of annex part of the house, to become part of the private dwelling (previously used as a workshop and studio), and some minor adjustments to the external. Also permission granted for use of an outbuilding as holiday let, within Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Planning Authority. 👍

A loft conversion, just submitted for Planning approval.
The location of the new stair required the small front roof to be raised, and the rear is receiving a new dormer. The lower roof section here is to be raised as well, to enable a picture window to frame the spectacular views out over an adjacent field, onto the hills in the distance.

A single storey living room extension with stove and flue, a rear extension to add a downstairs WC and utility room, and a porch out the front.

Really pleased for the clients, and now onto Warrant submission, so we can get the project on site.
